I wrapped up the first three books in the Red Rising series and moved on to Wool by Hugh Howey, the first in the Silo trilogy. The series has been really good and a coworker who read the books said the first two seasons cover the first book really well. Rather than wait for season three, I’m going to try and get through the books. BUT as soon as I started getting into it, I got an automated call from my local library telling me the new Orphan X novel Nemesis is going to be available for pickup tomorrow.

Finished my reread of the final book in the original Red Rising trilogy (Morning Star) tonight. The ending comes quicker than I remember it. Lots of events in a really short period where the rest of the book jumps weeks at a time. It does maybe make it seem a little rushed. But I feel like it covers everything and we get the ending we deserve. I guess it’s more the pacing is just different than the rest of the book.
